Brooklyn Beckham 'pleased' with support as he breaks cover with wife Nicole Peltz after bombshell statement

Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly glad he spoke out against parents David and Victoria and appreciative of the support he’s received.

The budding chef, 26, hit out at his “controlling” parents in a bombshell online attack earlier this week, accusing them of trying to “ruin” his marriage to Nicola Peltz, 31.

He also accused Lady Beckham of “dancing inappropriately” on him at his 2022 wedding and Sir David of refusing to see him in London unless Nicola wasn’t there.

Following the savage claims, Brooklyn is reportedly feeling relieved after years of “bottling things up”.

It comes as he and Peltz were seen for the first time since his shocking statement this week, being captured by a photographer walking arm in arm in Malibu as they took their rescue dog Lamb for a walk.

“They couldn’t be happier with how things have panned out. They told us, ‘We’re glad we did it,’” a source told The Sun.

“They feel like a massive weight has been lifted off them and they’re pleased with the support they’ve received. It’s been therapeutic to finally get things off their chests which they’ve been bottling up for years.”

The source added: “This has just made things even clearer to him — he wants nothing more to do with his parents.”

Brooklyn and Nicola have not heard from Sir David, 50, and Lady Beckham , 51, since he posted his explosive Instagram statement, according to the outlet.

The Standard has contacted Brooklyn’s representative for comment.

Brooklyn shared a blistering statement earlier this week blasting his parents after months of rumours about a family feud.

“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

“My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.

“Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife and our future children.”

He added: “They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated.

“My holdout affected the payday and they have never treated me the same since.

“During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me ‘evil’ because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Nanny at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.”

Describing Victoria’s dancing, he went on: “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” he wrote.

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.

“We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”

The former Spice Girl “wrapped her arms around Brooklyn” and “nuzzled into his neck,” according to Page Six.

The insider said: “She [Victoria] was dancing with him very inappropriately. She took that moment from Nicola, that is the god’s truth.”

The source went on: “Nicola ran out crying. The Beckhams’ side of the room was cheering and the Peltz side was quiet.

“Nicola’s friends were saying, ‘You have to go back down.’ Her face was swollen. She finally came down and was sad the entire evening, it was so heartbreaking.”

Brooklyn also criticised his father, claiming that despite travelling to the UK for Sir David’s 50th birthday, repeated requests to meet beforehand were ignored. Brooklyn said he was eventually offered a meeting on the condition that Nicola was not invited.

He further accused his parents of controlling press narratives and prioritising image and endorsements over family relationships, writing: “Brand Beckham comes first.”

David appeared to respond to Brooklyn’s claims hours later, saying in a TV interview that “children are allowed to make mistakes”.

Discussing the dangers of social media live on CNBC’s Squawk Box, he said: “What I’ve found personally, especially with my kids as well, is using it for the right reasons.”

“They make mistakes - but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids.”
