Brooklyn Beckham ignores David's public message as he shares glimpse at lavish New Year celebrations with wife and pop star

Brooklyn Beckham appears to have ignored Victoria and David's public message as he gave a glimpse at his own lavish New Year celebrations. The eldest son of the celebrity couple spent the festive season away from his family in the UK as he enjoyed his first Christmas as a married man.

On Christmas Eve Brooklyn shared a romantic festive picture of himself with his wife Nicola Peltz during their first yuletide together as husband and wife after marrying in April last year at actress Nicola's family estate in Florida. "Merry Christmas Eve from me and my baby xx" he shared with his 14.7 million followers.

Meanwhile, Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria shared a picture of her family dressed in white satin pyjamas and Santa hats on Christmas Eve. Romeo, 20, Cruz, 17, and Harper, 11, all piled in for the sweet snap alongside their dad David, 47. Captioning the snap, Victoria, 48, wrote: "Dad keeping up the Beckham family tradition! We love and miss you @brooklynpeltzbeckham x Kisses @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham."

When it came to celebrating the arrival of 2023, former Manchester United player David sent a message to Brooklyn, 23, alongside a joyous snap posted on his Instagram. David looked dapper in a tuxedo joined by his fashion designer wife Victoria, 48, and their children three youngest children.

He wrote with a stream of red love hearts: "Happy New Year from the BECKHAM’s we love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham we miss you. 2023." Brooklyn, meanwhile, appeared to be having a great time with Nicola and their pals, including pop star Selena Gomez.

Following their break in Mexico, singer and actress Selena shared a series of images from their trip, including a snap of her playing a game of Jenga with Brooklyn and another of her posing with Nicola on a boat. Another photo showed Selena, Brooklyn and Nicola all snuggled up on the deck of a yacht, with the open sea stretching out in front of them.

In the caption, Selena, 30, wrote: "Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone." Quick to respond in the comments, Nicola, 27, wrote: “Facts”, alongside a string of pink heart emojis. Nicola shared further photographs of the celebrations on her own Instagram, revealing that she and Selena were given matching dresses by Valentino to wear for the special occasion.

Aspiring photographer and chef Brooklyn, meanwhile, shared some more candid shots of him enjoying a midnight kiss with Nicola as well as a picture of his wife waving around sparklers with Selena. "Let’s go 2023," he penned in the caption before returning to Instagram with some more holiday snaps. "Love you guys," he simply wrote alongside them.

There had been said to be a rift between Nicola and Victoria after a problem occurred with the bride's wedding dress. Previously addressing the reports, Nicola explained how the rumours began when she didn't wear a Victoria Beckham-designed wedding dress for her big day after Victoria "realised that her atelier couldn’t do it."

Instead, she opted for a Valentino number despite saying she wanted to wear one of the former Spice Girl's designs. In the same interview with Variety magazine Brooklyn insisted things were fine between him, his wife, and her in-laws: "I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good."
