As rumours of a family feud continue, Brooklyn Beckham has declared his support for wife Nicola Peltz Beckham and called her his "number one priority".
The 23-year-old married wife Nicola Peltz in a lavish £4million ceremony earlier this year, but ever since the pair have been dogged by rumours of a feud between Nicola and mother in law Victoria Beckham.
Rumours claim the two women, who used to be friendly, are no longer speaking and a fallout over Nicola's wedding dress could be behind the fight.
In an interview with Grazia USA , Brooklyn spoke about how he felt hearing the rumours that his mother and wife are feuding. He said: “To be honest, my wife is obviously my first priority and I never want to see her upset ever.
“When people do say ridiculous things, we just talk about it and we just move on. We have each other’s back 100 percent and we just move on together.”
In the same interview, Nicola addressed the rumours herself: "I don’t understand the whole hating on other people’s Instagrams, but to each their own, I guess. I think it’s really about surrounding yourself with really good people. I feel really lucky to have a good support system."
Rumours that she fell out with mum in law Victoria have circulated after initially Victoria's fashion house was due to create Nicola's wedding dress. However, Nicola explained that Victoria's designers were unable to make it, and that was why the 23-year-old model didn't wear a VB designed dress but chose Valentino instead.
Nicola explained how "it hurts her feelings" when she reads rumours saying she "was never planning on wearing the dress" as she had wanted to.
Rumours have stated that Victoria was upset by Nicola's decision, and fans have spotted that the pair who were once friendly on social media no longer speak.
Despite the wedding in April being a huge family affair, it appears Brooklyn and wife Nicola now lead very separate lives away from the rest of the Beckham clan.
A source close to the star reportedly told Heat magazine: "Vic says Nicola is not the charming girl she once knew.
"Nicola wasn't really famous before she met Brooklyn. Sure, she was rich, but she was an actress with a few small movies to her name. Since she married Brooklyn, her profile has sky-rocketed."
In a similar view, another source told OK! Magazine: "You can’t get along with everyone, and they’re just different people.
“Brooklyn is standing by Nicola. He doesn’t want her to be unhappy and he’s so in love with her. It’s affecting Brooklyn – and it’s had a knock-on effect on the family.”
