Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz only had vintage phones at wedding as social media was banned

Nicola Peltz has revealed she only had an old flip phone at her $3million wedding to Brooklyn Beckham.

The high-profile couple had a social media ban at the A-list affair because of their mega-deal with VOGUE magazine.

They were married in a gorgeous ceremony on her billionaire father’s sprawling Palm Beach estate.

She wrote alongside a photo of the phones: ”Our wedding phones and the only personal pics we took @brooklynpeltzbeckham.”

To ensure the social media ban was kept to, electronic locking bags were provided to guests and staff.

They worked by placing phones in small pouches that automatically locked in phone-free spaces but unlocked in spaces where social media was given the green light.

The social media ban was the talk of the town ahead of the wedding.

Presenter Ross King said on Lorraine: “It’s going to be the wedding of the year. It’ll be a Jewish ceremony, but bad news that there will be no pics allowed. Social media is apparently band.”

A galaxy of stars from all walks of showbiz attended the nuptials in Palm Beach.

Serena Williams, Gordon Ramsay and Isabela Grutman as well as Spice Girls Mel B and Mel C were in attendance on the couple’s big day.

David Beckham gifted the newlyweds a $500k on vintage electric Jaguar as wedding gift.

The Peltz Beckhams asked for donations to Ukraine in lieu of gifts following the ceremony.

She wrote on Instagram: “Me and Brooklyn are devastated about what is going on in Ukraine and have asked for donations to CareOrg in lieu of wedding gifts. Anything helps.”
