Bronny James will participate in the 2023 McDonald’s All-American game on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Lakers star LeBron James's eldest son revealed his jersey number for the event, electing to wear the No. 23 that his father wore during his high school career and earlier NBA days.
Bronny, who plays high school basketball at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Calif., will be on the West team for next week’s showdown. He wore the No. 0 for his high school team, averaging 14.2 points per game during his senior season, per SB Live.
Of course, 20 years ago, his father was taking to the hardwood to participate in the McDonald’s All-American game himself, though LeBron wore the No. 32 jersey for the game.
