Last season, Bronny James, the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, had an excellent senior year at Sierra Canyon School. It caused his stock to rise considerably, and it led to him committing to play his college ball at the University of Southern California.
Unfortunately, he suffered a cardiac arrest episode during the summer, which put his basketball career in jeopardy. But he has made a remarkable recovery, and he was recently cleared to start his college basketball career.
Now the question is when he will play his first game for the Trojans. He returned to practice with his new teammates on Thursday, and he’s looking to make his debut on Sunday versus Long Beach State University.

The elder James recently indicated he would miss a Lakers game in order to see his son play. Luckily for both parties, the Lakers have Sunday off after playing the Indiana Pacers for the first NBA Cup on Saturday.
