Graham Glasgow can do it all.
The veteran offensive lineman began the 2022 season as a backup and was then thrust into fill-in starting duties at guard due to injuries. He has started four games at guard this season and the Denver Broncos have now moved him to move over to center following Lloyd Cushenberry’s groin injury.
“Graham really did a nice job [at center in London],” coach Nathaniel Hackett said Monday. “He stepped in. I give Graham so much credit this whole season. [Going] all the way [back] to that first game in Seattle, he had to jump in and play guard.
“He’s played guard, now he’s played center. He’s been all over the place, and he hasn’t skipped a beat. It’d be good to get him going at center.”
Glasgow does have a full season of starting experience at center from his time with the Detroit Lions, but he’s played primarily as a guard with the Broncos over the last two and a half seasons.
The 30-year-old lineman will now be tasked with helping to shore up an offensive line that has struggled through eight games this year. If he plays well, Glasgow might even hold onto the center job even after Cushenberry returns from his injury.
