As July approaches, it signals that NFL training camps will soon begin. The Denver Broncos will begin training camp on July 26 in their second year under Sean Payton, as they begin their march back to Super Bowl prominence. This fall will mark the team’s first season without quarterback Russell Wilson in three years, and linebacker Jonas Griffith doesn’t plan to give him a warm welcome in Week 2.
During a recent interview with Zach Bye and former Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay on The Drive, Griffin told 104.3 The Fan that he would love to intercept Wilson when they play on September 15th.
“I want to pick off Russ, for sure. I think that would be really cool, just to pick him off and get the victory, first and foremost.”

Wilson is looking for a fresh start with the Pittsburgh Steelers after two tumultuous years with Denver. Will Griffin spoil the revenge the game? We’ll find out this fall. That Broncos-Steelers matchup will be must-watch TV.
