The Denver Broncos have elevated two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster for their Week 4 showdown with the New York Jets.
The Broncos called up inside linebacker Levelle Bailey and defensive back Tanner McCalister on Saturday. Bailey and McCalister will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.
Players can be elevated up to three times during the season without having to clear waivers to return to the practice squad. This marks McCalister’s second elevation of the season and Bailey’s first.
McCalister will provide more depth at safety and likely play on special teams in the place of an injured JL Skinner. Bailey adds more depth at inside linebacker after the team lost Alex Singleton to a season-ending ACL tear in Week 3.
Sunday’s game will be regionally televised on CBS and in-market fans can stream the game on fuboTV (try it free). New York is considered a home favorite against Denver this week.
