'Brokenhearted' Vanessa Feltz unveils thoughtful gift from famous rocker after sharing her grief over plans with Paul O'Grady

Vanessa Feltz has unveiled a thoughtful gift from a famous rocker pal as she addressed her 'broken heart'. The TalkTV presenter shared the news of her split from her fiance Ben Ofoedu at the start of February but sharing a video on Instagram

In the sad clip, Vanessa told her followers that she was "shocked" and "incredibly sad" and revealed that the trust had been broken in her relationship with Ben, who shot to fame as one half of the dance duo Phats &Small in 1998 with the massive hit Turn Around. The singer later admitted he had cheated on her.

Ben, 50, broke his silence on his infidelity for the first time in an exclusive interview with The Mirror in which he admitted that he betrayed Vanessa's trust for a second time after she forgave him for cheating at the start of their relationship. He shared how his fiancee forgave him after he had sex three times with an older woman but he insisted that the affair in Ibiza was "just sex – and a chore". But he then admitted that his relationship was finally over when he later 'sexted' one woman and 'flirted' with another.

Vanessa has since been ploughing on with her new life as a single woman and on Tuesday (April 4), she took to Instagram with a video as she showed off a new gift from her friend Ronnie Wood and his wife, Sally. "So I come home, walk in to my kitchen and I see the most gorgeous present that anyone has sent any girl with a broken heart," the This Morning agony aunt said to the camera.

"Just look at this... And that's from my wonderful friends Sally Wood and Ronnie Wood," she added as she panned the camera to show a colourful landscape painting with a message plastered across it. "When I take care of myself I can achieve anything." Vannesa said: "And my gosh, doesn't this cheer me up."

"It is the loveliest thing you could ever hope to see," she said before the video switched to a picture to show the new painting in all its glory before zooming in on the signature on the print, appearing to show it had been done by Ronnie himself.

Alongside the video, Vanessa wrote in the caption: "What a perfect painting for a girl with a broken heart! Pure joy in a frame. Thank you @sallywood1 @ronniewood for your kindness."

Sally, who has been married to Rolling Stones star Ronnie since 2012, was quick to respond with a string of hearts. This Morning baker Juliet Sear commented: "What a lovely gift." @gardnerrodney said: "What a FABULOUS GORGEOUS gift for wonderful YOU xxxx." @zoes_colourful_interiors added: "This is gorgeous and that pink."

It comes after Vanessa shared her grief following the death of Paul O'Grady. The comedian and TV star died, aged 67, last Tuesday (March 28) 'unexpectedly but peacefully' at home, his husband confirmed. Writing in her column for the Express, Vanessa spoke of the loss.

She wrote: "When I woke to the news of his death I was consumed by shock and sadness. My phone still bristles with his messages promising nights of ‘debauchery and dissipation’. I looked forward to both immensely, of course."
