Broken Hill aged care struggles to meet registered nurse quotas

Broken Hill's only aged care provider says unless it can find extra nurses, it will have to reduce numbers at one of its homes by the end of the year.

The federal government's aged care registered nurse (RN) quotas, which require a registered nurse operating around the clock in every aged care facility, are supposed to be met by July 1.
