After posting a three-and-out to start the game, the San Francisco 49ers offense came to life on their second possession of the game. With the Seattle Seahawks leading to start the game 3-0, Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy led the 49ers down the field on a 12-play scoring drive.
Following a sack that resulted in a five-yard loss, Purdy used his legs to get the 49ers on the board with a rushing touchdown on the very next play. After scrambling, Purdy broke away with the ball down the sideline for a 10-yard rushing score to give the 49ers the lead 7-3.

Purdy’s touchdown against the Seahawks was his fourth rushing score of the 2024 campaign.
