Two men have been stabbed following an attack in a Wilko store in Broadmead, police say.
Officers were called to the scene on Union Street on Tuesday afternoon (May 24) at around 2.50pm. Two eyewitnesses said they saw police tape surrounding the area and at least three police cars were in attendance. Both Wilko and Cotswold Outdoors have been temporarily closed due to the incident.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed no victim was identified at the scene but two men later arrived at hospital after receiving stab wounds. Officers have been searching the Bristol shopping district but an offender or group of offenders are yet to be identified by officers in relation to this incident.

A spokesperson for the force said in a statement: "Police were called to a store in Union Street, Broadmead, at about 2.50pm this afternoon (24 May) following reports of a serious assault. Officers are conducting enquiries at the scene and are searching the surrounding area to try to identify the offender or offenders involved.
"No victim was at the scene when police arrived but two males have since presented at hospital with stab wounds. Their injuries at this time are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have asked anyone with more information or who may have witnessed the assault to come forward. People can call 101 and quote log number 511 of 24 May.
As Bristol Live approached Wilko for comment, a spokesperson for the company said: "We can confirm there was an incident at our Union Street store in Bristol earlier today. We’re working with the police to aid their investigation and are offering support to team members and customers who were instore at the time."
Bristol Live has since asked Wiklo when the store will be reopening after the incident.
