Broadband giant TalkTalk is eyeing a sale of its business-to-business division in a deal that could be worth over £200m.
First reported by Sky News, the Salford-headquartered company is looking to offload TalkTalk Business Direct, which sells directly to 90,000 customers.
If a deal is agreed, TalkTalk’s wholesale platform would continue to provide connectivity. Oakley Advisory is understood to be handling the process.

BusinessLive also understands that proceeds from a potential sale would be reinvested into its wholesale platform.
TalkTalk Business Direct has an annual revenue of more than £85m and an EBITDA of over £17m.
The move comes after TalkTalk was the target of potential acquisitions by rivals Vodafone and Virgin Media O2.
Earlier this month BusinessLive reported that TalkTalk had hired a mergers and acquisitions specialist as its new chief financial officer.
TalkTalk was taken private in 2021 in a £1.1bn deal.
TalkTalk declined to comment when contacted by BusinessLive.
