Broadband operator Netomnia has announced it will invest an initial £47.5m to roll out its high-speed full-fibre network in and around Bristol.
The Gloucestershire-based firm said it was targeting a total of 159,000 premises in the first phase of what will be its third roll out in a major UK city.
The company said it had already begun work in Downed, South Gloucestershire on the city’s north east edge, and would begin work in neighbouring Kingswood and Filton in the coming weeks.
