Pokopia, the new Pokemon spin-off making waves for its cozy gameplay, has only been out for four days now – but that hasn't stopped its wildly creative fans from building everything from beautiful homes to literal lavafalls. With the cozy aesthetic of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and building-heavy Minecraft vibes, Pokemon Pokopia is a haven for folks who enjoy expressing their creativity in-game. Unsurprisingly, some fans have spent the past few days conjuring up all sorts of impressive builds – so impressive, in fact, that it's blowing the minds of fellow players who might not be quite as stuck into the more creative side of the new Nintendo gem just yet.
I am really liking Pokopia but it’s clear that I will never be “good” at this kind of game lol https://t.co/ftUcF0cwv1March 7, 2026
Sharing the video of one very organized player's storage area – handy decorated signs and all – one such mind-blown Pokemon fan admits, "I am really liking Pokopia, but it's clear that I will never be 'good' at this kind of game."
They explain in the comments that they're making a joke, but they're certainly not alone in feeling that way. "My island sucks aah, but my little fellas are happy with it, and that's the only thing that matters," a reply reads.Elsewhere, a similar post shows an admittedly stunning white house, garden and all, with a fan questioning, "HOW?" An amusing response contains a screenshot of a blocky brown house and some words I think many of us can relate to (I know I can, looking at these builds, anyway): "Bro am I talentless."
Someone else jests, "These blocks just don't spawn in my game ig." They don't spawn in mine either, apparently… Mood.
am i doing smth wrong with the game https://t.co/els9TwCBsnMarch 8, 2026
A separate thread highlights another beautiful build: a cute cottage with a little dock and mill in front, trees surrounding it. "Am I doing smth wrong with the game?" asks the person sharing the post.
The top comment sees a fan exclaim, "The Animal Crossing creatives and Minecraft builders are showing all the regular pokemon players up… I'm SICK." It's funny, but I suppose it makes sense. Pokopia has drawn in all sorts of masterminds.I've been eyeing some jaw-dropping builds online myself, hoping to spark some inspiration. After spotting a cave house with an indoor lavafall and Cyberpunk-esque neon home, though, I think I'll just go back to practicing… I've clearly got a long way to go.Pokopia players can't fathom just how big the Pokemon spin-off is so far: "More feature rich and wider in scope than Animal Crossing has ever been."
