Nearly six months after announcing their split, The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has filed for divorce from Jax Taylor. Cartwright cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce from the Vanderpump Rules alum, with the date of their separation listed as Jan. 24. She has petitioned to block both herself and Taylor from receiving spousal support and is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their 3-year-old son Cruz, with Taylor allowed visitation rights.
Following their separation, Taylor confirmed he was receiving in-patient treatment for his mental health. In an Instagram post, he expressed his commitment to getting better for his son. Cartwright first addressed their separation on their joint podcast in February, explaining that they were taking time apart for the sake of her mental health.
