Brits can stay in a secret Disney suite - if you can prove how big a fan you are

Disney is on the hunt for the UK's biggest fan with contestants to be battle it out head to head.

To celebrate Disney’s hundredth anniversary, Disney Parks and Resorts searching for super fans to head off on the ultimate Disney holiday over the Easter break.

It will include special visits to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and a sailing aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship.

Over 10 magical days, the 10 fans and their families will compete in 10 challenges throughout the Disney theme parks and on-board the Disney Wish, all for the chance of winning the coveted title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.

The competition is open for two weeks until 13 February 2023, at which time the entrants will be whittled down to a shortlist of 10 Disney fans and their families, by a special Disney committee.

To be chosen, you must tell the company your story and why you want to compete for the coveted title.

Strictly Come Dancing host Janette Marara will join the 10 winners and their guests on their special journey and host many of the challenges testing their Disney fan credentials along the way.

At Disneyland Paris, they will take on missions at Marvel Avengers Campus, before journeying to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, where fans will compete amid lands of endless enchantment, and exhilarating thrills, and finally, on an adventure like no other, with Disney Cruise Line around the Bahamas, on the Disney Wish.

The final winner will be crowned in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

To commemorate the occasion, the winner will then receive a money-can’t-buy stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite, which is found through a secret doorway inside Cinderella Castle.

Janette said: “As a life-long Disney fan, I’m thrilled to be part of the crowning of the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. I’ve been to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida 43 times, the first time when I was aged one, and I even managed to get my husband onboard by putting an annual Disney Parks visit in our wedding vows before we honeymooned in Disneyland Paris.

"I chose Disney as my specialist subject on Mastermind so you could say, I’m more than qualified to help guide the fans on their magical journey.”

Hopeful Disney fans of age 18 or over can enter from 30 January until 13 February through a 30-60 second video, which can be uploaded from a public Instagram account, tagging @DisneyParksUK and using the hashtag #UKsBiggestDisneyFan .

Alternatively, they can head over to Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris or Disney Cruise Line UK Facebook pages and upload their entry in the comments of the competition post.

In the entry video, entrants should express why they want to compete for the title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.
