Britney Spears has claimed she will never perform on stage again, following her 'humiliation' during a past tour.
The Princess of Pop, 40, took to social media on Monday night to recall her experiences working with the 'tiniest' backup dancers, and claim her confidence was knocked during her time performing while under her controversial 13-year conservatorship.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Britney shared a naked snap of herself - with a heart emoji strategically placed over her bum - as she seemingly told her father Jamie Spears to "kiss my God damn mother f***ing a** you f**king bas***d."
The mum-of-two wrote: "The most offensive SO CALLED professional pictures on every tour. I mean they could have at least cheated and retouched them for me… just saying… two day shoots for new show in Vegas literally the worst ever… and me excited for the pictures for five months on tour… they never showed me any.
"I’d rather quit s*** in my pool and shoot photos of myself in studios over working with the most offensive people in my life."
The Gimmie More singer continued to say: "I'm extremely short dude but of course my team always hired the tiniest girls to be on stage with me... like 8 girls talk about humiliation good god... and tours WITHOUT conservatorship I only had 4 girls or 2 on stage with me!! JUST SAYING... you think I'm being silly you try being up there and feeling like that.
"I’m pretty traumatised for life and yes I’m pissed as f*** and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point."
Britney concluded, directly addressing her father - who oversaw her conservatorship until last year - and writing: "See this picture right here....kiss my God damn mother f***ing a** you f**king bas***d."
Britney has been on an indefinite work hiatus since 2019 and in November 2020, her then attorney told a court that the singer had no plans to ever perform again as long her father, Jamie Spears, remained in control of her life and career.
As one of the biggest names in pop, Britney headlined 10 tours between 1999 and 2018 and, when under the control of her controversial conservatorship, even had a successful Las Vegas residency from 2013 - 2017, Britney: Piece of Me.
In November 2021, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny terminated the arrangement that left the award-winning singer with no control over her life, finances and wellbeing for 13 years.
One month after the ruling, Britney celebrated her new-found freedom and opened up about life on the road since a young age, and claimed she was very unlikely to ever take the stage again.
"I know I’m not playing in huge arenas with my loud band anymore but I will be honest and say life on the road is hard !!!" Britney told her fans within an extensive update in December last year.
"My first three years in the biz and on the road were great but I’ll be completely honest and say that after those three tours and the pace I was going … I don’t think I ever want to do it again !!! I hated it !!!"
She continued: "I read an interview a long time ago where Will Smith even said the music industry is a whole different animal compared to movies.
"I agree it’s too much," the Toxic singer added.
Following her latest Instagram comments about performing on Monday [September 12], Britney deleted her naked snap and shared another update - this time seemingly taking aim at fellow popstar Christina Aguilera.
Sharing a graphic which bears the message "I found there was only one way to look thin: hang out with fat people", Britney told her Instagram followers: "I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children … my dancers … I mean if I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small [dancers emojis]… I mean why not talk about it ??
"Don’t you think my confidence would have been a bit better if I could choose where I lived, ate, whom I called on the phone, dated and who was on stage with me !!! It’s hard sometimes now I see how much of my womanhood was stripped away at that time and every person sat back and didn’t say a thing !!!"
She concluded, writing: "Anyways … I will be here talking bout things people NEVER talked about."
