Britney Spears slams claim she 'deserved' slap and says 'no woman deserves to be hit'

Britney Spears has furiously slammed the claims that say she "deserved" to be smacked by a bodyguard, with her urging that "no woman deserves to be hit".

In video footage from a matter of days ago, the 41-year-old popstar can be seen in an altercation with NBA star Victor Wembanyama's security after she tapped the star on the shoulder. Britney claimed to have been hit, but police later analysed the footage and said she hit herself. More footage then emerged shortly after where the singer screamed: "f*** you all" following on from the alleged slap.

And now Britney has slammed a radio station for "talking s**t" about her after the incident, with Britney claiming in a video shared that an alleged news report by the station said she "deserved to be smacked" and dismissed the assault.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Britney claims in a video that the unnamed radio station dismissed her assault and said that the security guard was simply "doing their job" and "protecting" their client. She said: "I’ve been with the most famous people in the world. *NSYNC at one time, girls would, like, literally throw themselves at them."

"On my way into the place, I was knocked down by, like, three 12-year-olds trying to get my picture. My security, not one time, touched them or even came near them," she added. The mum-of-two then said that she "didn't appreciate" people saying she "deserved to be hit because no woman ever deserves to be hit".

In the video of the incident, Britney can be seen tapping the NBA star on his shoulder before his bodyguard pushed her hand back without looking, with the sound of a backhand slap heard clearly in the clip.

"That's America for you, f*** you all!" she screamed after the incident.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department concluded its investigation into the incident and said that "no charges will be brought against the person involved". They also said that Britney was not slapped, but instead had her arm pushed away, which then resulted in her hitting herself.

The cops said that in the video Britney "pushes her hand off of the player without looking which causes Britney's hand to hit herself in the face".
