Britney Spears says her dad telling her she was fat as a teenager killed her confidence – and sex life.
The singer, who joined The Mickey Mouse Club aged 12, says she felt secure in her looks before her controlling family piled on pressure for her to be “perfect and pretty”.
Posting a photo of herself as a 13-year-old on Instagram (right), Britney said: “One of the things that hurt me the most is that I was always being told I was fat and never good enough. My dad always made me feel like I had to try ... try ... try! Big time.
