Britney Spears and Sam Aghari got married in an “intimate” ceremony at her home in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The Toxic singer is believed to have walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love as she finally said “I do” to the 28-year-old Iranian fitness model, nine months after getting engaged.
Her wedding dress was reportedly designed by Donatella Versace, with sources telling E! Online the gown featured an off-the-shoulder cap sleeve and with a deep V-shaped slit in the leg.
She is said to have completed her look with a selection of jewellery by Stephanie Gottlieb, while her makeup was by Charlotte Tilbury.
According to People, there were around 60 guests including Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton and Kathy Hilton.
Most of the popstar’s family were not invited, including father Jamie Spears, mother Lynne Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Her brother Brian Spears did however attend.
Also noticably absent were Spears’ two teenage sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan issued a statement ahead of the nuptials regarding their absence to Page Six.
It said: “The boys are not going to be in attendance at the wedding. They think the focus of this day should be on Britney and Sam, and they are very happy for her moving forward.”
In pictures obtained by the MailOnline, a large white tent was seen being errected on Spears’ 12,464-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bath Italian villa, which is located in a gated community in Thousand Oaks, California.
Spears purchased the home, which sits on 20 acres of land, in October 2015 for $7.4 million.
A white, horse-drawn carriage was also seen arriving on the property for the newlywed couple.
Spears and Asghari first met in 2016 on the set of her music video for the song Slumber Party.
