Britney Spears' lawyer has accused the pop star's dad Jamie Spears of actively avoiding a deposition.
Mathew Rosengart has now said he's prepared to travel to Louisiana in order to depose him.
Jamie, 69, was previously running his daughter's old conservatorship and has been keeping a low profile in Kentwood since its end.
In court documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, Mathew says Jamie has been avoiding the deposition for five months now and so he will travel if necessary to get him under oath and on the record.
The lawyer is said to have claimed that the Toxic singer's dad had pocketed $6.3 million while paying other people millions more from the conservatorship's pot.
The documents also added that Jamie "continues to harass and bully Britney Spears by, among other things, failing to cooperate with his discovery ... and actually noticing his daughter's deposition, even as he hides from answering essential deposition questions."
It's said that Mathew will travel anywhere in order to question Jamie.
The news follows Britney's sad news that she had suffered a miscarriage earlier this month.
Brit had claimed during the trial last year that the conservatorship had stopped her getting pregnant or marrying.
The singer and fiance Sam Asghari had announced they were expecting their first child earlier this year, but broke the sad news that the star had miscarried.
At the time, Britney told her Instagram followers: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.
"This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news.
"Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment."
When Sam was asked on Wednesday if and when the pair would be trying for a baby again, he replied: "Very soon."
It followed a source telling Closer Magazine the pair hoped to try again for a child.
The source said: "She's focusing on preparing her body to fall pregnant again and is hoping that it won't take long.
"She is praying that the worst is behind her and that after everything she's been through, they'll get their happily ever after and she will become a mum again in the next year."
