American pop star Britney Spears allegedly had a "fascination with knives", it has been reported.
The singing sensation, 41, is said to have had some recommendations made as she moved away from her conservatorship, which ended in 2021.
Reports say that as the conservatorship drew to a close, those caring for the global singing sensation "prepared a list of recommendations" with one of them being to "keep knives away from her".
TMZ have reported that multiple sources have spilled on the recommendations, with another of them being for her not to drive alone.
But the American news outlet highlight the recommendation about knives, with them adding that the star viewed knives as a "means of protection".
The outlet added that Britney has a "constant fear of being re-institutionalised" and that the recommendation was "cautionary" due to the singer's past mental health struggles and volatile behaviour.
Mirror Online have reached out to Britney's representatives for comment.
Britney was in a conservatorship for 13 years, which began in 2008 after she faced a public mental health crisis.
The conservatorship saw Britney's dad Jamie control of her personal and financial affairs before it ended in 2021.
The singer will talk about her conservatorship in her tell-all memoir, which was due to be released earlier this year, but recently came to a halt.
A matter of days ago we reported that there are a slew of legal concerns amid the bombshell claims that the singer makes in the book.
The Baby One More Time songstress is said to make claims that she had "flings with two massive Hollywood stars" within the pages of her upcoming book.
Due to the claims, lawyers for the people who are said to be worried about the contents of the memoir have sent letters to the book's publisher - which has in-turn halted production.
The publisher of the book are now said to be consulting with its own legal team, with the memoir now expected to be available at the end of the year.
Last year it was claimed that the singer would release the explosive memoir after securing a "record breaking" $15million (£12million) publishing deal following on from her getting freed from her conservatorship.
Britney's book is set to touch on her marriage to Sam Asghari, as well as many other topics that she wants to set the record straight about.
