Britney Spears has taken to Instagram to introduce fans to her adorable new puppy.
The Hit Me Baby One More Time hitmaker is clearly enjoying her new-found freedom with her beau Sam Asghari, because the couple have just become dog parents.
Welcoming an adorable pup into their loving home, Britney couldn't contain her excitement and filmed a quick clip of the new addition into their family.
In the video clip that she uploaded to Instagram Britney can be heard saying "hello baby" and "we got such a cute little couch for baby" – all in a super cute almost-British accent
The gorgeous new pup could be seen perching on a pink sofa-like bed, looking at his new mummy and barking every so often.
Fans were overjoyed by Britney's new fur-baby and flocked to the comments to congratulate the singer while swooning over the little cutie.
"Oh my god look at him," one penned, while another said: "What a beautiful dog."
One person asked: "Isn’t this an Australian shepherd?" to which somebody said: "It is."
And another added: "Aussies are the worlds best dogs who will love you and protect you to all ends."
If they are correct and Britney's dog is an Australian shepherd, it is a breed of herding dog from the United States.
These dogs have a suspicion of strangers and are completely devoted to their owners.
Other fans picked up on Britney's "on fleek" British accent in the clip, with one saying: "Love British-ney accent always."
While another said: "British accent on fleek."
Britney's beautiful new dog comes after she sparked fresh pregnancy rumours last week.
The stunning star left her 40 million followers completely taken aback when she posted an incredibly cryptic clip hinting at a future pregnancy.
Sharing a clip of a heavily pregnant belly, Britney simply penned: "Mommy … get me out of here!!!!!!"
Speculation soon spiralled, with many fans taking to the comments section to discuss the potential hint.
"GIRL thought u were pregnant," said one fan, while someone aded: "I think she's been subtly hinting she is."
"Hopefully you get to have another baby just like you’ve wanted," said someone else.
Britney and her beau got engaged last September, with the couple seemingly going strength to strength in their relationship – which is why pregnancy rumours have been so rife.
Last November Britney was freed from her conservatorship after a court hearing led to its termination – which is why fans reckon the star could welcome a new baby in the near future.
But maybe Britney was just hinting at the welcoming of her new fur-baby all along?
