Pop icon Britney Spears was arrested in Ventura County, California, on Wednesday evening for driving under the influence, following an hour-long highway pursuit captured in a dramatic 911 dispatch call. As reported by The Guardian, the 44-year-old singer was weaving dangerously in and out of lanes along Highway 101 before being stopped by the California Highway Patrol at around 9:30 p.m.
