Britney Spears has detailed restrictions on her food, work and medication during the conservatorship that governed her person and estate in Los Angeles from February 2008 until November 2021.
In her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, and in her June 2021 court testimony, the singer alleged that the arrangement left her with little control over major decisions, while Jamie Spears's lawyers said he had no involvement in her medical or reproductive care after he ceased being conservator of her person in September 2019.
