Britney Spears and her long-term partner Sam Asghari are reportedly due to marry on Thursday in an intimate wedding ceremony in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old pop princess is due to walk down the aisle surrounded by 60 of her closest friends and family, PEOPLE reported.

News of the couple’s nuptials came after Spears shared several sweet videos from inside a Rolls Royce in which she showed off her beautifully decorated manicure as she sipped champagne with her 28-year-old beau.

It is unclear who will walk Spears down the aisle, according to TMZ who first reported Spears is set to tie the knot immiently.

Reports have suggested the singer will be wearing a dress by Donatella Versace on her big day.

Spears and Asghari have been an item since late 2016.

The couple announced their engagement in 2021 while the musician attempted to end a controversial conservatorship which had controlled her life for almost 14 years.

A judge scrapped the conservatorship in November 2021.

In the last few months, Spears has been teasing details about her upcoming wedding date on social media.

Asghari previously also revealed to fans that “the big day has been set” but they are yet to publicly comment on the date.

At the start of May, Spears also shared a sweet snap that featured a flowing white veil which she confirmed she would be wearing on her wedding day.

Spears’ wedding day comes weeks after the songstress confirmed she had sadly suffered a miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy.

On May 14, the mum of two took to social media to share the heartbreaking news that she had lost the couples “miracle baby”.

However, Spears and Asghari plan to continue trying to start a family.

“We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all your support,” Spears added in her social media statement at the time.

The Standard has approached a representative for Spears for further comment.
