British woman dies in Italy from Covid after couple were infected during cruise

A woman has died in hospital from Covid after learning she and her husband were infected while on a Mediterranean cruise.

The British 60-year-old failed to survive respiratory complications which arose because of the virus.

She died at the San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d'Aragona hospital in Italy on Friday morning.
