British Holidaymakers in Spain have hit out at so-called 'Scottish weather' after the Canary Islands were hit by a rare weather phenomenon.
Much of the holiday islands experienced a 'calima' sandstorm which causes a layer of dust from the Sahara.
Calimas normally last for around one to two days but can last as long as a fortnight in some cases, reports the Express.
