British tourist held in Thailand after allegedly trying to smuggle 38kg of cannabis on plane to London

A British tourist in Thailand has been detained for allegedly trying to smuggle 38 kilos of cannabis onto a London-bound flight.

Daniel-James Hallett, 38, could face up to ten years in prison if convicted after Thai officials allegedly found 35 vacuum-sealed bags of cannabis inside his luggage while he was boarding a flight from Krabi International Airport at the weekend.
