The Army's top 'other ranks' soldier has told troops they must be ready to fight against Russia. Warrant Officer Paul Carney has told soldiers to alert their loved ones of a possible conflict.
He says the UK military is now 'shaping itself to meet the threat from Russia and was ready to counter any aggression'. The time had come to prepare “families and loved ones” for the possibility of being sent to the East, reports The Mirror.
Mr Carney claims the world has changed since Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine six months ago. And now the British troops must 'be prepared for the new realities'.
