A British man has recovered Bitcoin now worth about £3.3m, 12 years after losing access when an early UK cryptocurrency exchange froze his account and later disappeared.
Chris, who has not disclosed his full name, said he invested about £1,500 in Bitcoin through Britcoin, later known as Intersango, in 2011. CEL Solicitors, which handled the recovery, said he held 61 Bitcoin bought at about £2.94 each.
