William ‘shocked and saddened’ by death of ex-nanny’s stepson in New Orleans terror attack

The Prince of Wales said he was “shocked and saddened” by the “tragic” death of his former nanny’s stepson in a New Year’s Day vehicle attack in New Orleans.

Edward Pettifer, 31, from Chelsea, died from blunt force injuries in the incident on Bourbon Street that claimed 14 lives. The coroner confirmed his death following the attack in the French Quarter.
