British defence startup building missile interceptors hits £2.5bn valuation - just two years after launching

A British defence firm founded only two years ago has attained a valuation of £2.5bn ($3.4bn), following a funding round which makes it one of the most valuable startups in the UK.

Cambridge Aerospace develops and makes interceptor systems for use against drones and missiles, as well as a radar system and rocket motors.
