A British woman and her late husband have been made official residents and honoured for visiting Ayia Napa close to 50 times on holidays.
Margaret Mackrell has been crowned an Ambassador of Ayia Napa Tourism for her remarkable commitment to the Cyprian resort.
The Brit was recognised at a ceremony with local Mayor Christos Zannettou for visiting the holiday hotspot 48 times across her life.
Absent from the ceremony was her late husband John Mackrell, who had a post-mortem plague unveiled in his memory having made 47 trips to the Mediterranean town.

Mr Zannettou said the three ambassadors were now "officially residents of Ayia Napa and not simply visitors".
The Mayor thanked the British tourists, noting “how important it is for the Local Administration and for the town to have such a large number of regular visitors who advertised the tourist product of Ayia Napa abroad", In Cyprus reported.
While Margaret's loyalty to Napa is worthy of celebration, she is not the UK's record breaking visitor.
That honour may be held by Bill and Dixie Forbes from Scotland, who received a similar honour in 2017. At that point the couple had holidayed in the resort 76 times.
As much as Ayia Napa may be adored by Britain's older generations, it is also favoured by members of Gen X and Y.
Ayia Napa remains one of the most popular tourist resorts with British people, attracting close to a million people from the UK each year.
It has a duel role within the hearts of British holidaymakers.
For the older, more relaxed generations, its warm seas and Venetian era landmarks such a the Ayia Napa Monastery are big draws.
For young people, its array of boozy bars and night clubs have allowed it to become a genuine rival to iconic party islands such as Majorca and Ibiza.
