A BRITISH comedian has been condemned for making a “disgusting” joke about the Gaza conflict on social media.
Jay Mack has been called out for making a “sick joke” on Christmas Day where he shared an apparently AI-generated image of a Lego playset showing a pile of grey bricks labelled "Gaza".
The Leeds-based comedian shared the image alongside the caption: “Wow, look what I got for Christmas!”

The viral post, which has been seen by more than 13 million people on the social media platform X and "liked" by more than 120,000, has been heavily criticised, with many calling it “pathetic” and “unfunny”.
One person replied to his post saying: “In what world is this funny?”
While a second person said: “I get that great comedy often sails close to the wind, but honestly this is way over the line.
“There's a lot of men women and children going through hell over there and you are taking the piss out of them.”
A third person said: “You're as funny as Israel carrying out a genocide on a defenceless people.”
While there was an overwhelming amount of comments condemning the post there were others who joined in by making other offensive remarks around the war in Ukraine and Syria.
Mack’s social media has quotes which state he has “a pleasantly dark and surreal take on life” and that “he’s horrible, actually”.
The comedian's post follows the news of a three-week-old baby girl freezing to death overnight in Gaza, two other babies also died due to freezing conditions in recent days in tent camps.
Five Palestinian journalists were also killed over Christmas Day in an Israeli airstrike outside a hospital in a refugee camp.
Israel’s bombardment and ground invasion of Gaza over the last 14 months has killed more than 45,000 Palestinians, with over half of them women and children, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
