British Airways has cancelled 50 flights today due to strikes in France and bad weather, with Ryanair also grounding planes.
The UK's flag carrier has blamed striking air-traffic controllers in France as well as high winds for the groundings.
Flights to Amsterdam, Prague, Nice, Hamburg and Zurich have been cancelled today, causing major disruption for passengers.
The groundings come just days after BA announced that it would cancel hundreds of flights over Easter due to strikes at Heathrow Airport.
A spokesperson for BA said: “Like other airlines, due to French air traffic control industrial action and forecasted bad weather, we’ve made a small number of schedule adjustments to some of our flights.
“This is beyond our control and we’re sorry for any disruption to our customers’ travel plans. We’re in contact with our customers to inform them of their rights and offer them options including a full refund or rebooking onto an alternative flight.”

After a turbulent year for aviation as the industry got back up to speed post-lockdowns, it was hoped that 2023 would be a little calmer and smoother for those travelling by air.
Yesterday Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary warned passengers that more disruption was coming down the line.
The aviation boss said his airline had been told on Tuesday it had to cut 60 flights on Thursday due to air-traffic controller strikes in France.
Mr O’Leary told the Airlines for Europe conference in Brussels: “(We have received) the wonderful news that the daily French ATC strikes will continue for the month of April. Daily.
“We are all collectively facing daily cancellations of flights that aren’t even operating to and from France, while the French protect their domestic flights.”
He added: "It is difficult to explain to passengers in the UK, Ireland and Spain that their flights are cancelled because of a few air traffic controllers in France walking out, even though their flight is not landing in France."
The CEO has long complained about French air traffic controllers striking and how his company's flights are impacted by them.
He said Ryanair was “forced to cancel 230 flights” which hit 41,000 passengers last weekend, while more than 2,000 flights were delayed.
France's air traffic controllers have gone on strike for 13 days since the start of the year, with another four days of strikes planned.
