Britain's Got Talent singer Loren Allred explains why she's taking part in ITV talent show despite already being famous

The Greatest Showman singer Loren Allred, who secured her place in the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals early on in the competition, gave a powerful performance of You Say by Lauren Daigle on Thursday, June 2 and succeeded in earning herself a place in the final. Read more about Loren here.

"We need another girl in the final," said Amanda Holden following Golden Buzzer act Loren's performance - but some viewers are up in arms about the fact that someone already in the public eye as a professional singer has a place in the ITV talent series.

Loren explained the reason for her appearing on BGT and said she wanted to step out of her usual behind-the-scenes singing role. In the 2017 film The Greatest Showman she sang mega hit Never Enough, a song that was dubbed over by actress Rebecca Ferguson in the final cut.
