As rumours and speculation grow about comedian David Walliams being replaced by Alan Carr as a judge on Britain's Got Talent current Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has hinted that the rumours might be true. While appearing on The One Show, to promote her and Alan's separate show Amanda & Alan's Italian Job, Amanda did not deny the rumours.
Amanda was asked by The One Show's Ronan Keating who would be filling David's seat on the judging panel and if it would be Alan. Walliams left the show after a leaked voice note saw the comedian and author apologise for derogatory remarks made about a previous BGT contestant.
The BGT judge told Ronan: "Well...watch this space! There is the top line" before joking about her answer saying she was "really contained" and found her filter.
She then added: "It's a good idea, we will miss David but it's a good idea". Amanda and Alan are currently starring together in their new show, Amanda & Alan's Italian Job, where they brought an Italian villa for just one Euro and are doing it up to raise money for charity.

David's decision to leave Britain's Got Talent comes after recordings emerged of him making crude remarks about two contestants during auditions in January 2020. The comedian, 51, was recorded making derogatory remarks and sexually explicit comments about participants auditioning for the show.
In a statement, Walliams said: “I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020. These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.”
Amanda has been a judge on Britain's Got Talent since 2007 and first appeared on TV in 1991 on the game show Blind Date. Since then her career has included starring in Wild at Heart, standing in to present This Morning and she is now a Heart Breakfast radio presenter.
