Eagle-eyed Britain's Got Talent fans have spotted another rule break after Bruno Tonioli risked 'being fired'. The hit ITV talent show returned to screens on Sunday night (May 14) after being bumped from its usual primetime Saturday night slot.
The broadcaster pulled the episode from the schedule on Saturday night (May 13) due to the Eurovision Song Contest's grand final airing on BBC One, which was later revealed to have been watched by an average of 9.9 million UK viewers and a peak of 11 million as they tuned in to see UK's entry Mae Muller finish 25th with I Wrote A Song.
Not to miss out on a weekend of pre-recorded audition action, ITV aired BGT on Sunday evening instead, albeit in a clash with the BAFTA TV Awards that were airing on BBC One.

But just before the end of the latest episode, Bruno caused drama and surprised viewers when he claimed a second Golden Buzzer act ahead of the live semi-finals in a move that Simon Cowell joked could "get him fired". The former Strictly Come Dancing judge pressed his buzzer for singer Gamal John who performed It's A Man's Man's Man's World by James Brown.
Gamal took to the stage and pulled off an impressive audition that left everyone on their feet and his eldest son beaming with pride from the audience. And he left the judges gutted that they'd run out of the special buzzers, which automatically sends their chosen act straight through to the live shows.
As the audience chanted for the Golden Buzzer to be pressed, hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly made it clear that they couldn't as there were none left having already pressed them for other acts.
But new judge Bruno, who wasn't familiar with the rules, threw caution to the wind and pressed his Golden Buzzer for the second time this series, becoming the first judge on the show to get two Golden Buzzer acts. "I have to do it," he shouted as he lept over between Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
Simon covered his face as Amanda shouted out at him asking what he'd done. Ant also suddenly shouted: "What the hell? That's not allowed," as Amanda added: "You only get one." Amanda went on: "Oh my God, this is chaos," with Alesha adding: "What have you done to this show?"
Ant and Dec were left hiding backstage as the judges reeled, with Simon joking: "Erm we are about to get fired..." It looked as though they were about to take the buzzer away from Gamal as Alesha explained Bruno was wrong to press it. But Simon interrupted, saying: "Having said that, Bruno is a new judge and if you give something you can't take it away."
But Gamal's moment was slightly hampered by the lack of golden confetti that usually falls on the acts as they're awarded the free pass to the live semi-final shows. But Ant and Dec soon came rushing out onto the stage after finding some confetti cannons backstage and doused Gamal and his son.
Then, as the show came to an end, a preview for the next episode was shown and BGT viewers appeared to spot an incoming second rule break but this time from head judge Simon. @mlawelshgirl tweeted: "So Simon’s broken the rules by pressing another golden buzzer next Saturday #bgt #BritainsGotTalent I think the judges used up their buzzers to early."
@RyanTheSoapking commented: "So Simon pressed his golden buzzer again too - so it's either a new twist where the judges get 2 golds each. Or Simon is just breaking his own rules? You decide???? #BGT." @_mariiaax said: "So next week simon is going to press his golden buzzer for the second time. is there even any point of the auditions and selection process if they are just going to keep putting loads of golden buzzers through. #BGT."
@SG902110 posted: "Omg what!!!! Simon presses the golden buzzer next week too!! Bruno rubbed off on him breaking the rules #BGT." But as some fumed about the decisions, @ItsCloeMoe added: "There's a reason why simon pressed the golden buzzer next week...i'll explain when its on because it was in my audience session #BGT."
