Britain's Got Talent's Alesha Dixon was left visibly moved by a theatre company called Chickenshed during the episode that aired on Saturday, April 22. The act, which was made up of performers aged five to 37, made such an impression on the judge she was left in tears as she sent them straight through to the live semi-final.
The theatre company were labelled "pure joy" by presenters Ant and Dec as they performed a singing and dancing routine to Wonder by Naughty Boy ft. Emeli Sandé and got a standing ovation from the panel and studio audience. Introducing the act, the company said: "Chickenshed is so many different things for so many different people, we are all about if you have a passion for theatre and you love theatre then you're welcome.
"We're an inclusive company, we don't audition, that's why there's so many of us and we celebrate our differences and we love that, that's what makes us, us. We've been going for 50 years now, but there's still so many changes to make, it's about celebrating our young people."

Meanwhile, Simon said: "I've known about Chickenshed for a long time, and I've always wondered when would be the year you would come on Britain's Got Talent. The work you do actually is incredible, and this performance summed up everything you do, this really, really is a Golden Buzzer audition, that's what the Golden Buzzer was made for."
Explaining why she used her Golden Buzzer, Alesha said: "I love every single thing that you stand for, and what you represent.
"Inclusivity is so important, everybody feeling represented, and you do that in abundance and you're giving young people this incredible opportunity and platform, and honestly, I don't know what is more important than that. So it's my honour to give you my Golden Buzzer."
It's the second Golden Buzzer of the series after Bruno pressed his for Ghetto Kids dance troupe in a show first last weekend. The new judge, who was previously on the Strictly Come Dancing panel, got so excited he hit the button before the performance finished.
He said: "I was literally exploding, you should be proud of yourselves, I can't wait to se you back." He also went backstage to see the kids and told them they should be in Hollywood." You can read more on this here.
