The British father who left his family for a Ukrainian refugee has been reunited with his ex partner and their children on a judge's order. Tony Garnett has called it quits on his scandalous relationship with refugee, Sofiia Karkadym, whom he ditched his family for earlier this year, after their whirlwind romance came to an end after four months.
Garnett, 30 and his ex partner, Lorna, 28 welcomed the Ukrainian woman into their family home in Bradford with their two kids in May 2022. The sympathetic family sheltered the 22-year-old in their home after her country was invaded by Russia in February this year, the Mirror reports.
However, an unexpected romance quickly blossomed between Sofiia and Tony Garnett, and he abandoned his family to run away with his new lover, whom he had only known for 10 days. Their relationship recently came to a messy end after the couple had multiple disagreements and Sofiia returned to Ukraine this week.
