Brit claims £55m EuroMillions jackpot in life-changing lottery win

A British ticketholder has claimed the whopping £55,013,819 EuroMillions jackpot prize from Tuesday's draw, the National Lottery has confirmed.

Senior Winners' Advisor from The National Lottery, Andy Carter, said that the ticketholder will now be helped through the process of claiming their winnings - in an exciting turn of events.

Speaking about the life-changing win, he said: "This is absolutely incredible news and we’re delighted that we’ve received a claim. Our focus is now on supporting the ticketholder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.
