The cost of living continues to rise, with taxes, energy, and fuel all increasing. Plenty of people are therefore looking to save money wherever they can.
Luckily, Bristol Water has a number of tips to help you save water - and hence money. It also has a pack of water-saving devices that you can order for free.
The packs, which are limited to one per household, contain a shower regulator, a cistern bag, and tap inserts, all of which reduce the amount of water used in your bathroom. You can also order a gel that helps reduce the need to water plants, as well as timers to make sure you don't shower or brush your teeth for longer than necessary.

Take a look at the packs and order one for free here. You can also order a reusable water bottle, though there is a charge for this.
Alongside the packs, Bristol Water has some advice for how we can change our behaviour to save water. Steaming vegetables rather than boiling them uses half a litre less water per saucepan, for example, while only running your washing machine when it's full will save some 10 litres per wash.
Finally, the company recommends turning the tap off while brushing your teeth - since keeping it on will use around nine litres per minute - and keeping your shower to four minutes long.
As well as saving money, reducing your water usage helps protect wildlife - since there's less need to drain water from natural resources - and makes us more resilient to droughts, which are expected to get more common as global heating continues throughout this century.
