A second protest in support of Ukraine has been planned for Bristol as Russia continues its brutal attack on the country.
A 'Bristol Solidarity Protest with Ukraine' will take place on Wednesday, March 2 at 5.30pm on College Green. More than 100 people have shown interest in the event on Facebook, which follows a rally in support of Ukraine in the city centre yesterday (Saturday, February 26) and a vigil on Thursday.
It comes as Putin's troops invade Ukraine's second largest city Kharkiv, where a woman was reportedly killed and dozens have been evacuated. Russia is continuing its efforts to sieze capital Kyiv, where a six-year-old boy is thought to be the youngest casualty as the conflict reaches its fourth day.

The event description reads: "As Putin invades Ukraine and Johnson spectacularly fails to issue any serious sanctions, we want to show the world that the UK and Bristol stand in solidarity with Ukraine and its people.
"On Wednesday, March 2, we are holding a protest in the centre of Bristol to show our support and make our feelings clear about the behaviour of this government. Share this group and join us! #BristolSolidarity. Supervised children are welcome but this is not specifically a family' event."
It follows a number of protests in support of Ukraine across the globe, including in London, Geneva, Oslo, Washington, Taiwan and more. Hundreds of people turned up to College Green yesterday with balloons, flags and placards with pointed messages for Vladimir Putin.
It comes as bosses at Bristol's biggest theatre have cancelled a run of performances by a Russian ballet company, saying they 'stand firmly behind the people of Ukraine'.
The Ambassador Theatre Group, which runs the Bristol Hippodrome, had been due to stage performances by the Russian State Ballet Company of Siberia next month. The Russian company were due to perform at the Bristol Hippodrome on March 25 and 26, but that has now been cancelled.
Meanwhile local authorities in the region say they stand ready to welcome refugees displaced by the war. North Somerset Council said: "We stand ready to welcome refugees displaced by the conflict. We will also do what we can to avoid purchasing items or services supplied from Russian companies, given the flagrant law-breaking of their own state, and we urge all other local authorities to do the same."
