Bristol’s Box-E is the best restaurant outside London, according to a readers’ poll in a top food and travel magazine.
The 14-cover restaurant at Cargo, Wapping Wharf, beat off strong competition from high-profile eateries across the UK to scoop the prize of ‘best restaurant of the year outside London’ in Food and Travel magazine’s reader awards.
Run by husband-and-wife team Elliott and Tess Lidstone, Box-E is housed in two converted shipping containers and is one of Bristol’s smallest restaurants.
