Bristol Rovers have signed free agent midfielder Jon Nolan, the club announced on Tuesday.
Nolan has his Ipswich Town contract terminated on Monday to allow him to pursue options elsewhere.
The 29-year-old has not played in more than a year due to a knee injury, but he has recently returned to training and brings plenty of pedigree to Joey Barton's squad.
The length of the contract has not been disclosed.
Nolan scored 10 goals in 70 starts for Ipswich and the Liverpudlian also has fine spells at Shrewsbury Town and Lincoln City on his CV.
He becomes Rovers fourth midseason signing, following Ryan Loft, James Connolly and Eliott Anderson through the doors at The Quarters.
The Tractor Boys signed Nolan from Shrewsbury in 2018 as part of a £2million double deal with Toto Nsiala.
He scored at the Mem in Ipswich's win over the Gas in September 2020.
