It's expected to be an unsettled day of weather across Bristol today (July 8). Thousands of people are set to march through the city as part of the much-anticipated Pride Day this weekend.
According to the Met Office, rain is set to arrive early before lasting for much of the morning. Forecasters expect downpours to be heaviest at 8am before light rain persists from 10am to midday.
The radar then shows a period of drier weather before light showers hit at 3pm. Temperatures are expected to remain around 20C for much of the day, peaking at 23C between 3pm and 6pm.

The evening will then remain dry, with periods of sunshine throughout. The Met Office expects sunny intervals from 5pm to 9pm.
The varied forecast comes as we approach the end of Pride celebrations in Bristol. This year, which has seen two weeks of organised events, will conclude with Pride Day Weekend today (July 8)

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Further showers and sunny spells into the new week. These potentially heavy with hail and thunderstorms to begin but becoming fewer and lighter on Wednesday. Temperatures around the seasonal average.
