Top politicians in the area have called for Boris Johnson to resign in light of the Sue Gray report, with one MP criticising Tory MPs for their silence following the PM's actions.
The full report into rule breaches in lockdown was published yesterday (Wednesday, May 25) and found that gatherings held in Downing Street and Whitehall were 'not in line' with Covid guidance.
Someone was sick as 'excessive amounts' of alcohol were consumed during a gathering in Whitehall during lockdown, the Sue Gray report says. There was also a 'minor altercation' between two other people at the same event which was split into two parts.

All Conservative MPs in the Bristol area were approached for comment in light of the report, but Bristol Live had received no replies at the time of writing. However, several Labour MPs wanted to share their views on this.
Thangam Debbonaire, MP for Bristol West, said: “Sue Gray’s report lays bare the rot that has infected 10 Downing Street under this Prime Minister.
“He is too busy focussing on saving his own skin rather than dealing with this Tory cost-of-living crisis. Tory MPs who said they were waiting for this report have now seen how seriously the Prime Minister has demeaned his office.
“He must go.”
Kerry McCarthy, MP for Bristol East, described the report as damning for the PM. She said: "He may have got away with only one fixed penalty notice, but this report reveals what really went on in Downing Street when the rest of the country was trying its best to stick to the rules.
"It paints a terrible picture of boozy lockdown parties, with cleaners and low paid staff being treated with contempt by the people in power. The silence of so many Conservative MPs who know what the PM has done is indefensible and speaks volumes.
"Tory MPs should be speaking up for their constituents, not trying to save Boris Johnson's skin. They know what he did was wrong. They should be calling on him to do the decent thing now, for once in his life, and resign."
Karin Smyth, MP for Bristol South, also called on Boris Johnson to resign. She said: "The publication of Sue Gray's report will clearly reopen many of our wounds. The Prime Minister has shown no contrition or sorrow for what he's done. He's only upset because he's been caught.
"The country did the right thing in the hope of getting through the pandemic together. The Prime Minister allowed a culture of parties that ended up in fights, karaoke and people being sick.
"The Prime Minister doesn't think rules apply to him and the Conservative Party has been transformed into cheerleaders for a morally bankrupt leader. Bristol has had enough of this and he should resign."
Metro Mayor Dan Norris said: "Sue Gray's report is unequivocal: there was a ‘serious failure’ to observe the high standards expected of those working in government and senior leaders ‘must bear responsibility’. But in truth, this damning and damaging report confirms what we already knew.
"The Prime Minister and everyone at Downing Street thought that while the people of the West of England were making huge sacrifices to protect the NHS and save lives, it was ok for them to have lockdown-breaking party after lockdown-breaking party.
"Frankly, local people made up their minds a long time ago. They know the Prime Minister is not fit for the job and will feel like they’ve been taken for mugs.
"His behaviour is an outrage, and his Government have treated local people disgracefully."
